Men, You Matter.

If you're a man in today's world and in particular a single man you're going to agree with me that, you can feel the pressure on you from the world to be better, to be a leader, to know what you're doing, and generally to have your life together.

I'm not blind to the challenges that women are also facing starting from insecurity, fighting to be heard in the world, and discrimination among other challenges but in this article, I am going to focus on the men.

In my opinion, were facing the biggest challenges we have ever faced. So much so in a climate where there's a strong push to make everyone equal. I am not going to get into the equality debate because that has already been dealt with elsewhere.

I do agree that we are equal as human beings, but in this article, I'm specifically talking about polarity, the masculine feminine dynamics.

When we talk about relationships the driving force behind that is polarity. I'm a firm believer in gender roles and if a relationship is going to be successful then each gender has a part to play in meeting the other person's needs.

What is it that I am talking about here? The point is that men are being called to step up and be strong again, be able to withstand all the noise and opposition they face, and be successful in everything they do.

Masculinity grows through challenges, every time a man faces adversity he is presented with an opportunity to become better and sharpen his skills in problem-solving, discernment, and taking action.

So the purpose of this article is to encourage you to not view the challenges that you're encountering in the world as a bad thing, this is a rare opportunity for you to get to work on building yourself to be better.

This is not the time to whine and complain or give in to fear, rather this is your chance to reclaim your masculinity, the question you should be asking yourself is will you back down and give in? or will you dominate?

If you want to be a successful man in life you have to be comfortable with adversity, be willing to face everything that comes your way without complaining, but trust in yourself that you have what it takes to win.

This is not an easy mindset to have, it's perfectly normal to doubt yourself from time to time but remind yourself that every obstacle you overcome raises your confidence to another level.
